Grellner Elected VP of National Narcotics Group
The head of Franklin County’s drug task force has been elected to leadership posts this year in state and national narcotics officers associations.
Detective Sgt. Jason Grellner, commander of the Franklin County Narcotics Enforcement Unit, is serving as president of the Missouri Narcotics Officers Association.
This week he was elected vice president of the National Narcotics Officers Association during the coalition’s annual conference in Washington, D.C.
The national organization represents 66,000 narcotics officers from all over the United States.
The group provides training for officers throughout the country and lobbies lawmakers on drug issues, Grellner said.
The state organization provides the same services in Missouri.
Prior to being elected vice president, Grellner served as the south central regional district director for the national association.
