The Franklin County Board of Zoning Adjustment will hold an appeal hearing Tuesday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m. to hear comments and possibly rule on an appeal made by neighbors of a proposed shooting range in Lonedell.

The board approved a conditional use permit in April for Robert Dix, of St. Louis, to build a private sportsman club on 210 acres at 4273 Highway 47 south just before Soaring Hawk Road.
