A Franklin County woman is facing felony and misdemeanor charges in connection with a fatal crash in March that claimed the life of an off-duty Eureka firefighter.
Jael M. Clem, 39, Pacific, was indicted last month by a Franklin County grand jury on felony charges of involuntary manslaughter and armed criminal action, and a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
She was arrested Monday and booked at the Franklin County Jail. She was released that afternoon after posting a $50,000 bond.
Authorities allege that Clem was intoxicated March 7 when the car she was driving collided with a 2007 Dodge Caliber driven by Gregory Light, 49, Catawissa, on Highway O in the Robertsville area.
Light died at the scene.
