A man who was sentenced to prison last year for the burglary of a Franklin County home is back in jail on charges that he broke into the same house Monday, Sept. 30.
The sheriff’s office said Joseph Lauth, 28, Union, was given a five-year sentence after pleading guilty to breaking into the home on Liberty School Road, in the Clover Bottom area, along with other homes. After serving 10 months in the Missouri Department of Corrections he was transferred to a halfway house in St. Louis.
