A longtime employee of Crawford Electric Cooperative, Anthony J. “Tony” Mallory, 48, of Sullivan, recently was promoted to the newly created post of assistant manager.

Mallory has been the manager of finance and accounting since 2003 and has been employed by the co-op since 1998.

As assistant manager, he will continue in his accounting role while taking on additional responsibilities.

“Tony has done an excellent job managing the cooperative’s finances,” said Dan Blesi, Crawford Electric CEO/general manager. “In his new position, Tony will be more involved in overall cooperative management including system operations and maintenance.”

The promotion was announced after the co-op’s board of directors met on June 5.
