Fifty-One Agencies, Programs to Receive United Way Funding

The United Way Board of Directors recently approved allocating $791,000 to 51 agencies and programs in the greater community.

Here is a breakdown of the allocations to be distributed in 2013:

Agape Help House of Pacific, $27,500.00.

ALIVE, $14,700.

American Red Cross, $10,000.

Boy Scouts of America, $19,600.

Buddies Not Bullies, $5,500.

Catholic Family Services, $49,000.

Children’s Advocacy Center, $14,700.

Children’s Summer Reading Program, $4,900.

City of Washington Summer Youth Program, $4,600.

Community Grants, $6,500.

Community Outreach, $17,000.

Community Response for Children, $9,000.

County Seat Senior Center, $4,900.

Crider Health Center, $27,300.

Emergency Fund, $6,000.

Exceptional Equestrians, $35,300.

Four Rivers Area Family YMCA, $44,100.

Franklin County 4-H Clubs, $7,000.

Franklin County Dental Network, $24,500.

Franklin County FFA, $1,600.

Franklin County Transportation Council, $23,000.

Gateway Education and Therapy, $5,500.

Gerald Senior Center Inc., $3,000.

Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri, $3,100.
