Winter precipitation totals in Franklin County varied greatly from location to location Thursday.

The winter storm hit the area and left a precipitation mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain.

At The Missourian office in Downtown Washington, a total of 2.5 inches of winter precipitation was measured in the gauge. That melted down to 0.68 of an inch of water.

The National Weather Service reported a number of area readings:

• Pacific — 4.0 inches;

• Three miles north of Union — 3.8 inches;

• Marthasville — 3.8 inches;

• Union — 3.7 inches;

• Two miles northeast of Richwoods — 3.3 inches;

• Lonedell — 2.5 inches; and

• Sullivan — 2.0 inches.
