Franklin County deputies are searching for a man who may have been responsible for a burglary in the Pacific area.

According to information from the sheriff’s office, at about 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 3, deputies responded to a residence in the 6000 block of Highway O outside Pacific after the property owner reported he had arrived home and noticed that his residence had been burglarized.

The owner said he had surveillance cameras on his property, and deputies retrieved them and viewed footage.

Video showed a black two-door passenger car driving into the driveway of the residence. A white male wearing a baseball cap, dark T-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes exited the vehicle and walked near the doors of a camper on the property.

Deputies currently are trying to identify the suspect and car. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 636-583-2560.
