No Foul Play Suspected in Man’s Death
Authorities do not suspect foul play in the shooting death of a man at a residence in the Lake St. Clair development.
The sheriff’s office reported that the body of 84-year-old Ivan Stroh was found Wednesday, Dec. 26, in the garage of a residence in the 1000 block of Sandpiper Drive. Deputies were called to investigate the death about 7:30 a.m.
Deputies found a .25-caliber handgun near the victim who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound, according to the report.
The sheriff’s office learned that the man had been depressed and said the wound appeared to be self-inflicted.
