A Franklin County man who pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography three years ago is scheduled to be sentenced in May.

Darrell Peck, 50, Sullivan, pleaded guilty this week to two felony counts in the federal investigation. Senior U.S. District Court Judge E. Richard Webber is scheduled to sentence Peck on May 22, the U.S. attorney’s office reported.

Peck is facing a maximum of 10 to 20 years in prison in the case, according to reports.

Judge Webber is required to follow U.S. sentencing guidelines which provide recommended sentencing ranges.

Peck was indicted in October 2012 by a federal grand jury on charges that he possessed child porn in February 2010.

The case was investigated by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI.
