Fair Scholarship Applications Now Available

The Washington Town and Country Fair will again award at least two $500 college scholarships this year.

These scholarships are funded 100 percent by the exhibitors themselves from a 1 percent deduction in all Blue Ribbon Auction checks.

Scholarship applicants must be seniors in high school and must have exhibited livestock of any species, market or breeding, at the Washington Fair at some time before their senior year.

Applicants also must be residents of Franklin or an adjoining county.

Applications are available through the guidance office at area high schools and the Fair office within the Chamber building.

Digital copies also can be requested by emailing office@washmofair.com or can be downloaded from www.washmofair.com.

Completed applications must be received at the Chamber/Fair office, 323 W. Main St., Washington MO 63090, no later than March 31.
