Mercy Consolidates Its Urgent Care Facilities

Mercy Hospital is closing its Urgent Care at 3195 Phoenix Center Drive in Washington March 1 at 8 p.m. Mercy Corporate Health at the same location will remain open. Mercy Convenient Care at 20 Legends Parkway in Eureka will be closed March 2 at 3 p.m. and all day March 3. It will reopen March 4 as a hospital-based Urgent Care with expanded hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Mercy will then have three walk-in clinics in the area for patients to receive care for their acute medical conditions:

Mercy Convenient Care/Urgent Care at Mercy Medical Building South, 901 Patients First Drive in Washington will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day as of March 4. The Convenient Care/Urgent Care is a dual care center. Patients are first seen by a triage nurse who determines what level of care patients need based on their illness or injury.

Mercy Convenient Care at 1935 Prairie Dell Road in Union is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. At Convenient Care, patients receive medical attention for minor injuries and illnesses such as colds or upset stomach for an office visit co-pay.

Effective March 4, Mercy Urgent Care at 20 Legends Parkway in Eureka will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. At Urgent Care, patients get medical attention for more complex medical conditions at a lower cost and with a shorter wait time than the emergency room. Urgent Care centers are run as hospital outpatient departments, which mean additional resources are available for an urgent care co-pay.
