UPDATED: Seven People Taken to Hospital After Highway 47 Crash
Washington police, fire and ambulance crews responded at about 12:50 p.m. Tuesday to a two-vehicle crash at Steutermann Road and Highway 47.
There were multiple injuries and seven people were transported by Washington Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Washington for evaluation and treatment. Their injuries were not life threatening, police said.
UPDATE
Police said the crash involved a van driven by Vicky Vaness, St. Clair, and a car driven by Matthew Bacott, Washington.
According to a preliminary report, Vaness was southbound on Highway 47 and her van collided with the car driven by Bacott who was making a left turn from Steutermann Road to go north on Route 47.
