City to Close Street for Korean War Ceremony

Washington City Council members have approved a request to close a section of Fifth Street Monday, July 22, for a ceremony marking the 60th anniversary of the Korean War cease-fire.

David Anderson, who is organizing the event, asked the council to close the street between Highway 47 and Hancock Street, in front of the Korean War Memorial in Krog Park.
