Two Hurt in Crash

Union police said there were two Union residents injured in this crash on Highway 50 at Highway 47 south Saturday at 5:34 p.m. Union police said a 2001 Ford F-150 driven by Michael Anthony, 48, Union, was westbound on Highway 50 when the driver attempted to make a left turn and drove into the path of a 2008 Toyota Prius driven eastbound on Highway 50 by Diane O’Rourke, 62, Union. The O’Rourke vehicle then struck a truck driven by Kevin Stone, 41, Washington. O’Rourke and passenger James O’Rourke, 69, Union, were taken to Mercy Hospital Washington. They both were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.
