No School in St. Clair and Lonedell Again on Friday
St. Clair R-XIII and Lonedell R-XIV school districts issued phone blasts Thursday evening saying classes will be canceled again on Friday.
Both St. Clair Superintendent Mike Murphy and Lonedell Superintendent Fred VanBibber said because of adverse road conditions and snow accumulations in the wake of Thursday's winter storm, there will be no school on Friday.
Classes also were canceled on Thursday.
Murphy confirmed to The Missourian that the two St. Clair snow days will be made up on Monday, March 11, and Friday, May 17. May 17 will be an extra day tacked on to the end of the regular school calendar.
As of Thursday evening, there was no word about Friday's Courtwarming festivities and boys basketball games at St. Clair High School.
Check the Weekend Missourian for any further details.
