R-III School District to Hold Kindergarten Registration

The Meramec Valley R-III School District will hold an evening kindergarten registration for all elementary schools Thursday, Feb. 21, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Early Childhood Center, 2001 W. Osage in Pacific.

This registration is intended to accommodate students registering for all district elementary schools, including Coleman, Nike, Robertsville, Truman and Zitzman.

Children whose birthday falls between Aug. 1, 2007, and July 31, 2008, may be registered for kindergarten for the 2013-14 school year.

Registrants need to bring the child’s official birth certificate, immunization record, Social Security number and proof of residency.

To obtain a birth certificate, contact the Franklin County Health Department, 15 S. Oak, Union, or call 636-583-7300.

The office is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
