Races for Two Board Of Aldermen Seats
There will be races for seats to represent two wards in the April 2 municipal election.
Incumbent Brad Reed faces a challenge from former alderman Carol Johnson for the Ward 2 seat.
Incumbent Walter Arnette is being challenged by former assistant police chief Dan Donnelly for the Ward 3 seat.
Terms of office for board of aldermen are two years.
Incumbent Mike Bates was the only candidate who filed for the Ward 1 seat so his name will be the only name on the ballot.
Ward 1 voters cast their ballots at Pacific Presbyterian Church service building, St. Louis and South Fourth streets.
Ward 2 and Ward 3 voters cast ballots at the Pacific Eagles Hall, 707 W. Congress.
