Hochschild, Bloom & Company LLP announced that Michael D. Williams, CPA, has been selected as managing partner.
Williams joined the firm in 1987 and accepted as partner in 1998. He has managed work done for various organizations, including service industries, manufacturing, construction and government/nonprofit agencies, such as consulting projects and federal audits.
His client responsibilities include all aspects of accounting, auditing, tax and consulting services. He has been a speaker on technical subjects at various conferences and authored articles related to technical issues.
Williams received his CPA certificate in 1989 and in 1992, was awarded the Certificate of Educational Achievement in the Governmental Accounting and Auditing Program of the AICPA.
He has been a member of the AICPA and National Government Finance Officers Association’s Special Review Committee since 1992. He also has been past chairman of the Missouri Society of CPAs Governmental Committee.
Williams has played a key leadership role in the firm’s accounting and auditing practice. He succeeds Robert B. Offerman, who has been managing partner at the firm since 1999.
Williams lives in Lake Saint Louis with his wife Michele.
