Total Access Urgent Care (TAUC) opened its Washington location Wednesday.

The new, state-of-the-art medical facility is located at 1717 Madison Ave.

Dr. Matt Bruckel founded TAUC in 2008.

Offering most of the services of a hospital ER, Bruckel said TAUC provides patients an affordable, high-quality health care option that is both timely and efficient.

Eighty-five percent of patients are registered, evaluated, diagnosed, treated and discharged within one hour, he said.

TAUC’s skilled health care professionals splint fractures, reduce dislocations, suture lacerations, drain abscesses, perform EKGs, start IVs, and can run over 30 different lab tests in-house.

The Washington location is equipped with digital X-ray and CT machines on site and can provide patients with quick access to ultrasound capabilities.

TAUC offers a full suite of occupational medicine and workers’ compensation services, including pre-employment physicals and drug and alcohol screenings.

Total Access Urgent Care is open daily with extended hours at the Webster Groves/Rock Hill location from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and standard hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the new Washington location, as well as at the Bridgeton, Chesterfield, Creve Coeur, Ellisville, Florissant, Hampton, O’Fallon North, O’Fallon South, Saint Charles, Saint Louis Hills, Sunset Hills, Tesson Ferry, Tower Grove, Town and Country, Valley Park and Wentzville locations.
