Matt Posinski, Washington, has accepted the role of vice president – regional laboratory services for Mercy’s East Region.
Posinski has served the local community for the past 9 1/2 years as the vice president of ancillary and support services at Mercy Hospital Washington.
He has been an active member in the community, not only through his work at the hospital, but also through his ongoing commitment to the local organizations and activities he is involved with.
Posinski currently serves as the wrestling head coach at St. Francis Borgia Regional High School, as well as the assistant scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 439. He is a member of the board for the Four Rivers Area YMCA, and serves as a member of the Washington Civic Industrial Corporation.
He previously served as the cub master for Cub Scout Pack 439, and has co-chaired the Franklin County Heart Walk. He is an active member of the Saint Francis Borgia Parish.
“For the last decade Matt has provided excellent leadership and service to Mercy Hospital Washington and our community,” said Eric Eoloff, president of Mercy Hospital Washington. “We hate to see him go, but we’re all excited that Matt has been chosen to expand his leadership within Mercy.”
Posinski will continue to reside in Washington with his wife, Kristi, and their four children. He will remain a visible and active member in the Washington community.
Mercy Hospital Washington is a 148-bed hospital serving all or parts of Crawford, Franklin, Gasconade, St. Charles, St. Louis and Warren counties.
The hospital offers comprehensive emergency, heart, cancer, surgical, obstetric, pediatric and other health services. The hospital is supported by the care of more than 180 physicians and advanced practitioners who are part of Mercy Clinic.
