Meramec Group, Inc., a family-owned, U.S. based polyurethane manufacturing business located in Sullivan, recently announced organizational changes.

Doug Riley, Washington, has been appointed president. Riley has been Meramec’s chief financial officer for more than 30 years and a member of the senior management team.

Riley takes over the daily leadership of the company from Tom Dieckhaus who will now serve as chief executive officer.

The company also announced Jeff Dieckhaus, Ladue, joined Meramec in June as the vice president of sales, marketing and business development.

Jeff Dieckhaus joins Meramec from the medical device industry, where he was most recently vice president of US surgical marketing at Bausch & Lomb.

He brings more than 18 years of experience in both domestic and international sales, sales management, marketing, business development and mergers/acquisitions.

The Meramec Group is a privately held corporation with roots dating back to 1952 when Harold H. Dieckhaus founded the original sales company. It remains a private, family-owned business today.
