DeBourge Guesthouse, a bed & breakfast in Washington, announced the addition of electric vehicle (EV) charging to its list of guest amenities.
According to EV Charging Directory, Plugshare, DeBourge Guesthouse is the only lodging establishment in Franklin County to offer this service to guests.
“As electric vehicles become more and more prevalent, we do not want to miss out on the opportunity to serve travelers to this area,” said David Kelch, DeBourge Guesthouse owner.
“This amenity is critical to the decision-making process of those who travel by EV when they determine where they are going to stay overnight,” he said.
DeBourge Guesthouse comes equipped with a Tesla charger capable of charging Tesla Models S, X, and 3. It also has an adapter for the charger that is capable of charging any EV that uses the more universal J-1772 connector to charge.
