The Washington Area Chamber of Commerce has three new board of directors.

Chamber members elected Scott Hillermann, Hillermann Nursery & Florist, Steve Strubberg, Horn Architects, and Karen Timpe, Legacy Embroidery, to the board effective Jan. 1.

The new directors will be announced at the Chamber’s annual business meeting Thursday, Jan. 11, at the KC Hall, upper level.

Chamber officials said there were a total of six candidates for the three open positions.

The new directors join 13 other business representatives from the area. They include:

Sandy Anderson, Citizens Bank; Paul Brune, MFA Co-Op No. 2; Dan Cassette, Cassette Electric;

Jane Haberberger, Missourian; Joe Maniaci, Performance Food Group; George Meyer, LPL Financial;

Craig Mueller, Imo’s Pizza/Sugarfire Smoke House; Jay Nowak, Bank of Washington; Mitch Parrish, Franklin County Concrete;

Dave Politte, Zick, Voss, Politte & Richardson; Andy Robinson, Washington School District/Four Rivers Career Center; Casey Zastrow, American Family Insurance; and Brad Zobrist, Pepsi-Cola Bottling of New Haven.

Directors who retired from the board Dec. 31, 2017, include Becky Buhr, Bank of Franklin County, Jeff Hellebusch, Hellebusch Tool & Die, and Mike Marquart, Firehouse Subs.
