The Washington Planning and Zoning Commission Monday approved an amendment to the redevelopment plan to allow for the sale of land in the Heidmann Industrial Park.
Approval of the redevelopment plan amendment is necessary for the sale of Lot 12, 9.4 acres, to Magnet LLC, a Washington industry, for future expansion.
The commission approved the measure with a 7-0 vote. Member Tony Gokenbach was not at Monday’s meeting.
The lot, and an additional .68 of an acre to be acquired from Vossbrink, LLC, all for $40,000 per acre, for a total of $376,680, needs city council approval. It is expected to be voted on Monday, Nov. 20.
