Imo’s in Washington will hold a “Dining to Donate” fund-raiser to benefit Mercy Hospital Washington Tuesday, Aug. 20, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The restaurant will donate 10 percent of each patron’s bill to the Mercy Hospital Washington Auxiliary and host a quilt raffle.
Donations will be made for eat-in, delivery and carryout purchases. Customers just need to tell their Imo’s server they want to participate in Dining to Donate.
Imo’s is located at 1104 Washington Square in Washington. For carryout or delivery, people should call 636-390-4667.
Diners will also have a chance to participate in a $1 quilt raffle for a handmade, heirloom-quality quilt. The full-size quilt is white and burgundy with hints of pink and green and hand embroidery.
The lucky raffle winner will be announced at 7:45 p.m. Winners need not be present.
Raffle tickets will be available all day long at Imo’s and the gift shop at Mercy Hospital Washington, 901 E. Fifth St. in Washington.
The Auxiliary raises money for the hospital in support of programs and services that benefit patients and the community. Recent projects include a $250,000 donation to the emergency department expansion and renovation project and donating $3,000 in scholarships to area students pursuing medical careers.
