A total of 83 permits were issued by Washington’s building department during the month of December, according to a city report.
The number of permits is up by three compared to November.
Listed below is a breakdown of the types of projects, number of permits issued and estimated cost for those projects:
Commercial alteration, eight, $456,390;
Industrial alteration, two, $171,200;
Residential alteration, four, $72,000;
Single-family building, three, $396,000;
Demolition, one, $5,000;
Electrical service, four, $2,600;
Mobile home setup, one, $2,000;
Commercial certificate of occupancy, one;
Multifamily occupancy, 22;
Single-family certificate of occupancy, 29;
Two-family certificate of occupancy, seven;
Street excavation, one, $840.
There was a total of 83 permits with a total valuation of $1,016,030 in December.
In November there were 80 permits with a total valuation of $899,946:
There was one permit each for commercial addition, mobile home setup and subdivision development.
There were four permits each for commercial and residential alterations, two permits issued for single-family buildings; eight permits for electrical service, three commercial certificate of occupancy; eight single-family certificate of occupancy and two permits issued for signs.
