Crystal Extrusions Systems, a national aluminum extrusion and finishing fabricator in Union, announced for the third consecutive year it has expanded into new markets.

In the past three years, Crystal Extrusion Systems has welcomed 75 new major customers across 12 states in a variety of industries such as building products, solar energy, storage systems and recreational vehicles.

High-quality Crystal extrusions are fabricated with prime, recycled or special alloy aluminum content.

Crystal Extrusion’s powder coat finishing offers VOC-free environmentally friendly, durable performance.

“When Crystal Extrusion was launched 10 years ago, our initial purpose was providing extruded aluminum window profiles for our parent company, Crystal Window & Door Systems,” said Vice President Thomas Ziegler.

“We knew we wanted to grow and expand, so we worked hard to establish solid relationships with our suppliers and to develop a competent, qualified and dedicated staff of employees,” he said. “We focused on consistent quality, short lead times, great customer service, and in-house powder coat paint finishing, which would ensure that we would attract and retain new customers for the long run.”

Crystal Extrusion Systems’ efforts have been successful, Ziegler said. The company now has many customers besides its parent company, including window and window accessory manufacturers, fence and railing fabricators, lighting manufacturers, boat and trailer manufacturers, shelving and storage system producers, and solar panel rack system fabricators.

The company is capable of supplying an extremely broad variety of profiles in an array of finishes extruded from prime, recycled or special alloy aluminum.

“If the customer’s product involves extruded aluminum, we can produce it,” said Ziegler. “Crystal Extrusion has invested in the equipment, processes and people to allow us to become a full-service provider of aluminum extrusions, and our customers are benefitting from our actions.”

Crystal Extrusion Systems works closely with customers to select the perfect finish for their products and intended applications.

“Our state-of-the-art VOC-free, environmentally friendly powder coat paint finishing is one of the in-house services that attracts new customers,” noted Ziegler.

“We were one of the first aluminum extruders to invest in and offer high quality powder coating as our standard finish, because of the environmental, durability and cost benefits,” he said. “The rest of the industry is now following our lead.”
