Single-family home construction in Franklin County has increased compared to last year’s numbers.

Through September, there were 75 permits issued for single-family homes compared to 65 in the same time period last year.

These are just permits for unincorporated Franklin County and do not include any that have been issued in municipalities within the county.

The September county building report also listed a commercial storage building valued at $500,000 and it was for a hog barn at Purina Farms at Gray Summit.
