David Smith, OD, has joined Mercy Eye Care. He joins Dr. Susanne Kindel at the Mercy Medical Building North in Washington.

Dr. Smith specializes in adult and pediatric eye care, contact lenses and the treatment of ocular diseases like dry eyes, glaucoma and eye infections.

“I take great joy in helping my patients, adults and children, see the world more clearly,” said Dr. Smith. “By getting to know them and what they enjoy doing, I can recommend the treatment, glasses or contacts that will best fit their lifestyle.”

Dr. Smith received his optometric degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and completed internships at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Indian Health Service in Alaska and St. Louis Veterans Administration Hospital. Dr. Smith welcomes new patients of all ages and same-day appointments are available.
