Legends Bank announces that Greg Toelke has joined the bank as a loan officer and vice president in its Union office.
A native of Union, Toelke is a 1986 graduate of Union High School, a 1989 graduate of East Central College, and a 2007 graduate of The Paul W. Barret Jr. School of Banking in Memphis, Tenn.
Toelke comes to Legends Bank with over 15 years of banking experience. He has served in various positions in the banking industry, including as a branch manager in Krakow, an assistant vice president in Union, and a vice president of mortgage lending in Washington.
Throughout his banking career, Toelke has worked with Franklin County residents to achieve their goals and dreams, Legends Bank officials said.
“We are very excited to add Greg to our team here at Legends Bank,” said John A. Klebba, president of Legends Bank. “He has a wealth of banking experience in the Franklin County market and will be a great addition.
“Most importantly, he shares our desire to continue to be an integral part of the community and to work to make it a better place to live and work.”
Toelke is married to Dawn Toelke, a quality control manager at True Manufacturing in Pacific. They have a son Austin, 18, and a daughter Erika, 12.
“I am very excited about being able to work with the wonderful staff of the Legends Bank office in my hometown of Union,” Toelke said. “My 15 years of banking experience has all been in the Franklin County market, and I hope to continue to utilize my areas of expertise to make a positive difference in the lives of people in and around my hometown.
“Being part of a bank with a deep history of community involvement and financial strength will help me realize this goal,” he added. “I am looking forward to visiting with folks at our Union location right away.”
Legends Bank, established in 1913 and headquartered in Linn, Mo., has branches in nine communities in central and east central Missouri. The Union facility is located at 1950 Highway 50 East.
