No new candidates filed for Washington city offices by the filing deadline.
Filing closed at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The only race in the Tuesday, April 8, municipal election will be for an open Ward 4 city council seat.
The race will be a rematch between incumbent Josh Brinker, whose first two-year term expires in April, and Carolyn Witt, a former Ward 4 council member, who lost to Brinker two years ago.
Incumbent city officials who have filed for re-election and have no opponents are:
Mayor Sandy Lucy, City Attorney Mark Piontek, Municipal Judge Craig Hellmann, and council members Steve Sullentrup, Ward 1; Mark Hidritch, Ward 2; and Greg Skornia, Ward 3.
