Enrollment is open for upcoming fitness classes.
All classes are held in the lower level of city hall.
Cardio Fit Cross-training includes a mix of aerobic/anaerobic circuits, explosive intervals, athletic drills, cardio-kick, sport conditioning and pyramid training to boost the metabolic rate.
The first session begins Monday evening, Sept. 25, and the second session begins Oct. 30.
Total Body Conditioning is designed to strengthen and stabilize muscles, develop balance and range of motion utilizing a person’s own body weight, body balls, gliding discs, step platforms, medicine balls and exercise tubing.
Classes begin Thursdays, Sept. 28 and Nov. 2.
Morning Yoga allows participants to gain flexibility, tone muscles, and enjoy the flow of breath within their body. No previous experience is required. Classes are Monday mornings with classes beginning Sept. 25 and Oct. 30.
Morning Cardio and Strength includes combinations of cardio, strength, balance and flexibility combined with music. Sessions are held Friday mornings with sessions starting Sept. 29 and Nov. 3.
Yoga classes are held Wednesday evenings beginning Sept. 27 and Nov. 1.
Beginning Yoga sessions are held Tuesday evenings beginning Sept. 26 and Nov. 7.
For class preparation and to ensure a space, participants are asked to pre-register at least a week in advance.
