News Quiz Wraps for the School Year

More than 100 students from area schools submitted answers to the Week #30 Missourian In Education News Quiz. Two winners were selected at random to receive the final prizes of the school year, $15 Imo's Pizza gift certificates!

40 percent of Missourians get their drinking water from the Missouri River.

In the story on the Farm & Outdoors page “MDC Reminds People ‘Don’t Adopt Wildlife!,’” give three facts about adopting baby wild animals.

Answers will vary but, generally, leave the animal where it is unless it is a bird without feathers, then you can put it back in its nest. Parents are usually nearby and it is a myth that they won’t take care of their baby if a human has touched it.

 If you want to travel by train this summer and are between the ages of 2 and 12, how much will it cost you to travel on the weekend with a paid adult through Aug. 27?
