Shaw Nature Reserve is accepting applications for its youth ecology programs.

Habitat Helpers is open to students entering fourth and fifth grades. H2Os is open to students entering sixth, seventh or eighth grades. And TREES is open to students entering ninth, 10th, 11th or 12th grades.

These programs help participants build knowledge of the natural world by exploring prairies, woodlands and aquatic communities.

All three groups meet one Saturday a month from September to May and participate in a variety of outdoor activities. Program participants will also have the chance to assist with special events.
