In its Sept. 25-Oct. 1 issue, The St. Louis Review included a list of the 2017 jubilarians celebrating a life of service to the Catholic Church. Included on the list were:

Father Robert L. Heimos, who served Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Washington, as administrator, 1988-89, and pastor, 1989-2005. He also served as dean of the Washington Deanery, 1994-2000;

Deacon Gary J. Kuenz, who served at St. Gertrude Parish, Krakow, 2000-02;

Sister Marita Toenjes, who taught at St. Joseph School, Neier (Union), in 1959;

Sister Janice Alfoldy, who served as a teacher at Immaculate Conception School in Augusta, 1957-58;

Sister Bernadette Goessling, who served as a teacher at St. Francis Borgia School, Washington, 1970-73;

Sister Judy Ann Obermark, who was born in Washington and served as a teacher at St. Bridget School in Pacific, 1981-90;

Sister Kathy Ann Schmittgens, who served as a teacher at St. Francis Borgia Regional High School, Washington, 1982-87;

Sister Barbara Habing, who served as elementary education administrator at St. Ignatius School in Concord Hill, 1974-77;

Sister Avila Markiewicz, who served as a teacher at St. Anthony School, Sullivan, 1976-77;

Sister Mary Bryan Owens, who served as administrator in secondary education, St. Francis Borgia Regional High School, Washington, 1984-95;

Sister Christine Spour, who served as a junior high teacher at St. Ignatius School, Concord Hill, 1968-74;

Sister Theresa Duer- fahrd, who served at St. Clare School, St. Clair, as a teacher, 1979-77, and in community service, 1990-91;

Sister Carolyn Pozarich, who taught at Assumption School, New Haven, 1975-76.

Sister Mary George Hellmann, who served at St. John the Baptist Convent-Gildehaus, Villa Ridge, as food service staff/cook and also caregiver, 1978-88;

Sister Rose Rita Orf, who served as a teacher at St. John the Baptist School-Gildehaus, Villa Ridge, 1958-59; and

Father Frank J. Schmitt, who was born at South Point, Mo.
