Exceptional Equestrians of the Missouri Valley will host a benefit horse show Saturday, July 27, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. The show will be open to all riders in the therapeutic riding program as well as summer camps.
There will be a range of classes from assisted barrel racing to independent jumping so all riders can show off their talents, regardless of age or ability. Everyone who competes will take home a prize.
The show is open to the public.
Franklin County Sheriff’s officers will prepare grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. There also will be a face painting booth.
All proceeds will go toward the therapeutic riding program to help individuals with special needs achieve goals through therapeutic riding.
