New Haven Teen Is Miss Missouri Outdoors
Andi Placht, daughter of Bill and Barbara Placht, New Haven, was crowned Miss Missouri Outdoors in Van Buren on Sept. 9.
She is a senior at Washington High School and has been accepted to the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she plans to major in large animal veterinarian science.
Her hobbies include raising cattle, competitive shooting sports and hunting. Her platform is 4-H youth instruction.
Andi’s obligation as Miss Missouri Outdoors is to promote tourism throughout the state.
