The Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri are planning a “Big Day” that will celebrate 100 years of Girl Scouting with 100 events, crafts and games for the whole family.

The Big Day, set for Saturday, Sept. 22, in downtown St. Louis, will include a parade down Market Street at 11 a.m., a FamFest at Soldiers Memorial at 1 p.m. followed by a concert at 5:30 p.m.

The FamFest will include a USTA Smash Zone tennis attraction, Nintendo gaming lounge, Disney B.I.G. hangout area, flash mob, foam dancing, B.I.G. Ferris Wheel and a climbing wall.

The event is free and open to the public.
