Motorcycle Ride Aug. 17 to Benefit ALIVE

A motorcycle ride to benefit ALIVE, Alternatives to Living in Violent Environments, will be held Saturday, Aug. 17. Anyone interested in riding should meet at 8 a.m. at Stouts Apparel (Flea Market at AT and Highway 50).

Doughnuts will be provided.

Kickstands up at 9 a.m. Participants will ride approximately 100 miles around Franklin County and end up at Krakow Store on Highway A.

Donations will be accepted to benefit ALIVE.

ALIVE’s mission is to provide counseling, emergency sanctuary and other critical services to adults and children impacted by domestic abuse, as well as to increase awareness in order to create a supportive community. ALIVE’s vision is to end domestic abuse, restoring safety and peace one family at a time.
