BJC HealthCare will hold its annual Stepping Stones weekend bereavement camp for children ages 6-12 on Aug. 9-11 at Camp Wyman in Eureka.

The camp is offered free of charge for children who, in the last year or so, have experienced the death of a significant person in their life — be it a parent, sibling, grandparent or friend.

Campers come together for therapeutic activities and opportunities to reflect on their feelings of grief, as well as participate in swimming, carnival, outdoor games, singing, crafts and fun.

Stepping Stones offers a place for children to remember and honor their loved one in an atmosphere of understanding and encouragement.

For more information or to recommend a child who may benefit from this camp, people can call 314-953-1676 or email griefsupport@bjc.org.

To apply online visit www.bjchospice.org.
