In observance of April being Sexual Violence Awareness Month, ALIVE (Alternatives to Living in Violent Environments) is holding a countywide personal care product drive throughout the month.

Businesses, churches and schools are encouraged to participate by collecting items in April. Items needed include:

Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant (men and women), hand lotion, feminine hygiene products, toilet paper and paper towels.

ALIVE will be at the Union Wal-Mart April 18 from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. to collect items.

Anyone wanting to participate in this drive who needs a box should contact the ALIVE office at 636-583-9863.

ALIVE is a nonprofit agency providing support services and emergency shelter for adults and children victimized by domestic abuse. ALIVE’s vision is “Restore Safety and Peace One Family at a Time.”
