The group will meet from noon to 1 p.m. in the library meeting room. A brown bag lunch is optional.
The group will be facilitated by the Rev. Bill Schwab, pastor emeritus of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ. Impartial, thought-provoking analyses of the following foreign policy issues will be discussed:
China in Africa, May 15;
Iran, Israel and the Bomb, May 22;
Defending America on a Reduced Budget, May 29;
Myanmar in Transition, June 5;
Intervention Calculation: Should the United States Intervene?, June 12; and
Eurozone in Crisis, June 19.
Great Decisions is America’s largest discussion program on world affairs. The name is shared by a national civic-education program, briefing book and television series administered and produced by the Foreign Policy Association. The program highlights foreign policy challenges facing Americans during 2013.
Each session will include an overview, a PBS video and discussion. No registration is necessary. Interested persons may attend any or all of the sessions.
