Daytime Book Club to Begin at Washington Public Library
The Washington Public Library is introducing a new book club in response to patron interest for a club to meet during the daytime. The library currently has two book clubs that both meet in the evening.
The new book club is tentatively scheduled to meet the second Monday of each month from 10 to 11 a.m. in the library meeting room. The club will focus on a variety of genres based on members’ interests.
An organizational meeting will be held Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 11 a.m. for anyone interested. Anyone unable to attend the organizational meeting who is still interested in joining and/or obtaining more information should call the library (636-390-1070) to provide a name and phone number.
