The Washington High School varsity cheer team is holding a fund-raiser to support their trip to a national cheer competition and give the community a chance to support a local charity at the same time.

The cheer squad is selling a variety of paper goods to be delivered to one of three local charities — St. Francis Borgia Food Pantry, the McAuley Clinic at Mercy Hospital Washington or the Humane Society of Franklin County.

People can pay for the paper products, which the cheer squad will deliver to the charity.

Paper products are being purchased through All-Pro Supply and include:

Heavenly Soft paper towels in cases of 30 two-ply individually wrapped rolls for $32;

Hi-Dri paper towels in packages of eight two-ply rolls for $9;

Heavenly Soft toilet tissue in cases of 24 packages of four rolls, 96 rolls of 176 sheets per roll, two-ply Septic Safe, at $28;

Vintage toilet tissue case of 96 rolls of 500 sheets individually wrapped, two-ply Septic Safe, at $50; and

For local businesses:

Select Choice toilet tissue, 12 two-ply 9-inch rolls (for larger, commercial holders) for $34.

The cheerleaders will be asking family and friends to support the fund-raiser and also making outbound phone calls to businesses.

For more information or to place an order, people can contact Gail Kriete at 636-667-4368 or Karen Sickmann at 636-390-3676.
