Grant’s Farm will open for the season this Saturday, April 13, with several new interactive activities, including camel rides, a behind-the-scenes tour to meet the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales, and a new candy shop stocked with treats from six local bakers, farmers and confectioners.
Some of the most identifiable symbols of the Grant’s Farm experience are the iconic Budweiser Clydesdales. On the new behind-the-scenes tour, guests can learn about the rich history of the Budweiser Clydesdales, one of the largest herds in the world.
Visitors can tour the stables, discover what it takes to be a Budweiser Clydesdale, watch the training process and help a trainer groom one of the horses. There is a fee for the tour.
Visitors will be able to taste sweet treats from St. Louis’s own Colleen’s Cookies, Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company, Kakao Chocolate and Jilly’s Cupcake Bar & Cafe. They also can enjoy homemade candies from Sutter’s Taffy out of Herrin, Ill.
As is the tradition, guests 21 and older can enjoy complimentary samples of Anheuser-Busch beers, including the world’s most popular beers, Budweiser and Bud Light.
In addition to the new attractions, guests of all ages can take part in Grant’s Farm favorites that have made the park a must-visit destination in St. Louis and the region, like riding the tram through Deer Park, feeding the baby goats, visiting the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales and watching one of Grant’s Farm’s free animal shows in the Tier Garten.
Admission to Grant’s Farm, tram rides and all shows are complimentary, and reservations are not required.
Grant’s Farm is owned and operated by Anheuser-Busch, and visiting the farm has been a time-honored St. Louis tradition since it opened to the public in 1952. Grant’s Farm is located at Gravois and Grant roads in southwest St. Louis County. It is stroller and wheelchair accessible, and rentals are available.
There is a fee for parking.
