Sarah Ann Wahle and Daniel Robert Schaeffler, both of Wildwood, were united in marriage Dec. 29, 2012, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Washington. Father Kevin Schmittgens officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony.
Bride’s parents are Richard and Sherry Wahle, Washington. Groom’s parents are Eric and Janet Schaeffler, Eureka.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Serving as maid of honor was Kelsey Leimkuehler, Washington. Matron of honor was Samantha Cuzzort, Springfield, Ill. Bridesmaids were Kim Fleer, Springfield, Kim Garbs, Union, Meghan King, New Haven, Conn., Rachel Wahle, Lee’s Summit, Michelle Schaeffler, St. Louis, Amy Henerfauth, Columbia, Ill., and Hannah Kniepmann, Florida state.
Best man was Matt Walsh, St. Louis. Groomsmen were Jeff Fox, St. Louis, Mark Espy, Kansas City, Brandon Wahle, Washington, Trent Leimkuehler, Washington, Rob Henerfauth, Columbia, Ill., Curtis Calkins, Kansas City, and Ajay Garbs, Union.
Ushers were Brett Wahle, Lee’s Summit, and Michael Masalskis, Michigan state. Candlelighters were Jeff and Gina Leimkuehler, Washington.
A reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of St. Francis Borgia Regional High School. She earned a degree in interior design from the University of Missouri in 2008 and a master’s of architecture from the University of Kansas in 2011. She is employed by Christner Inc. as an architect.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of CBC High School and earned a master’s in architecture from the University of Kansas in 2011. He is employed by SSM Healthcare as an IT analyst.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple reside in Wildwood.
