Chelsea Lynn Iffrig and Christopher Rolando Jimenez were united in marriage Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Church, Union. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Joseph Post.

Bride’s parents are Mark and Karin Nuernberger, Union, and Kerry and Susan Iffrig, St. Charles. Groom’s parents are Rolando and Julie Jimenez, Savannah.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Serving as matron of honor was Sarah Gratzer, Union. Bridesmaids were Laurel Camden, Union, bride’s sister; Ivy Nuernberger, Bloomington, Ind., bride’s sister-in-law; Natalie Jimenez, Savannah, groom’s sister; Kaitlyn Brown, Independence; and Tara Quintos-Johnson, Hickory, N.C.

Best man was Alex Jimenez, St. Joseph, groom’s brother. Groomsmen were Steven Thatcher, St. Joseph, groom’s cousin; Matthew Nuernberger, Bloomington, Ind., bride’s brother; James Schoonover, Mission, Kan.; Chandler Hanna, Savannah; and Derek Yost, North Kansas City.

Ushers were Mitchell Reed, Louisville, Ky., and Lucas Iffrig, St. Charles, bride’s brothers.

A dinner and dance reception was held at The Vineyards at Riverbend Chapel, Washington.

The bride is a 2010 graduate of Union High School and a 2014 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a deegree in communication science. In 2016, she earned a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Murray State University in Kentucky. She is employed by the Kansas City Kansas School District as a speech pathologist and Minds Matter as a home health speech pathologist.

The groom is a 2010 graduate of Savannah High School and a 2014 graduate of Missouri Western State University, where he double majored in accounting and finance. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at the University of Kansas. He is employed by Kiewitt as a project controls analyst.

After a wedding trip to the Great Exuma in the Bahamas, the couple reside in Overland Park, Kan.
