Julia Zieger and Josh Hoeft were united in marriage Saturday, July 22, 2017, at the Shrine of St. Joseph, St. Louis. Monsignor Patrick Hambrough, bride’s uncle, celebrated the 2 p.m. ceremony.
Bride’s parents are John and Justine Zieger. Grandmother is Geraldine Zieger.
Groom’s parents are Ryland and Beverly Hoeft, Washington. Grandparents are Stephen and Anna Mae Voss, St. Louis.
Serving as maid of honor was Jaclyn Zieger, bride’s sister. Bridesmaids were Kayla Bargen, Gracie Sorensen, Courtney Luna, Lanie Jochens, Hannah Wilson, Shannon Sullivan and Kay O’Halloran.
Best man was Adam Hoeft, groom’s brother. Groomsmen were Brent Bargen, Zach Michels, Jared Zieger, Alex Johnson, Andrew Alfermann, Sam DuMontier and Colin McEntee.
Ring bearer was Murphy McEntee. Ushers were Ashton Stephens and Justin Allemann. Program and guest book attendants were Becca Michels and Haleigh Forget.
Altar servers and Eucharistic ministers were Aideen Floretta, Colin Floretta and Brigid Hecht, bride’s cousins, and Shari Feldmann, groom’s aunt. Musicians were April Strelinger, vocalist, bride’s cousin, Darren Modde, organist, and Gabe Miller, violinist.
A dinner and reception were held at Windows on Washington.
The bride graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy, St. Louis, in 2009 and from Capstone College of Nursing at the University of Alabama in 2013 with a BSN in nursing. She is employed as a RN in the NICU Department of Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.
The groom graduated from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in 2008 and Benedictine College in 2013 with a BA in athletic training and an MBA in 2016. He is employed by Mercy as an athletic trainer for Parkway North High School.
The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia and are planning a trip to Italy in the future, thanks to the Borgia Dinner Auction raffle.
They reside in their home in the Lindenwood Park area of St. Louis.
