Regan McKenzie Childers and Michael Wayne Parks were united in marriage Aug. 3, 2013, at the Childers family farm in Green City. James Garner officiated the 6 p.m. outdoor ceremony.

Bride’s parents are Doug and Tammy Childers, Green City. Groom’s parents are Marilyn Parks, Pacific, and Dennis and Sandy Parks, Cedar Hill.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Serving as maids of honor were Whitney Beussink, Jackson, and Micaela Murphy, Joppa, Md. Bridemaids were Olivia Shell, Jackson, Ashley Conner, Columbia, and Mia Salas, Green City, bride’s niece.

Best man was Tyler Graham, Eureka. Groomsmen were Ryan Liverar, St. Louis, Ethan Flood, Steele, and Larry Price, Hills-boro.

Flower girl was Tatum Salas, bride’s niece, Green City. Ring bearers were Arie and Zander Salas, bride’s nephews, both of Green City.

Ushers were Brian Parks, Columbia, groom’s brother, and Brandon Sides, Jackson. Readers were Jessica and Jason Salas, Green City, bride’s sister and brother-in-law.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Rebecca Sides, Whitney Beussink, Adam Carter, all of Jackson, Maggie Salem, Cape Girardeau, and Mike Hunsaker, Kirksville.

A dinner and dance reception was held following the ceremony at the farm.

The bride is a graduate of Green City High School and Southeast Missouri State University and was a member of Sigma Alpha Iota sorority. She is employed as a diamond executive with It Works Global.

The groom is a graduate of Pacific High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University and was a member of Phi Mu Alpha fraternity. He began Army basic training Sept. 17, 2013, at Fort Sill, Okla., as a signals intelligence analyst.

After a wedding trip to Charleston, S.C., the couple will reside in San Angelo, Texas, after Michael’s completion of basic training at Fort Sill.
